Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Email address — when you join the waitlist, claim a free trial, or subscribe.
• Job posts and drafts — the text you paste for analysis, opening-line generation, or AI-slop checks.
• Background and usage data — optional profile background (your experience, skills), plus counts of analyses performed and subscription status.
• Device fingerprint — a random identifier stored in your browser's localStorage (see section 5) combined with a hash of your browser's user-agent, used only to enforce free-trial limits.

2. How we use it

• To provide the features you asked for: analyze a job, write opening lines, check a draft.
• To prevent abuse of the free trial (one experience per person) and protect our token costs.
• To manage subscriptions and communicate about billing.

3. AI processing

Job posts and drafts you submit are sent to the DeepSeek API for processing. Your text is used solely to generate the analysis and drafts you request — it is not used to train AI models, and we do not sell your data.

4. Data retention & deletion

• Job posts and drafts are retained for 30 days.
• Account records (email, subscription, usage) are kept while your account is active, plus a reasonable period after cancellation.
• To request deletion of your data, email hello@replyrate.app with the subject "Delete my data" and we will remove your records.

5. Cookies & localStorage

ReplyRate does not use advertising cookies. We use browser localStorage to store a random device identifier (a fingerprint) that lets us enforce the one-free-trial rule and recognize you across visits. You can clear localStorage in your browser settings at any time; this may reset your free trial.

6. Payments

Payments are handled by Creem, our merchant of record. We do not see or store your card details. Creem's privacy practices apply to payment processing.

7. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that power the product (AI processing, payment processing) and where required by law.
